Airali Rosè Extra Brut

Tenuta Carretta is on e of Piedmont's most prestigious historic wineries. Located in the heart of the Langhe, it produces wines that showcase the terroir through rigorous grape selection and a profound respect for tradition. With Airali, Tenuta Carretta perfectly interprets the Alta Langa's vocation for producing great Metodo Classico sparkling wines, enhancing each vintage through artisanal production and extensive bottle aging.

Airali Rosé Extra Brut represents the fourth installment in the Airali collection dedicated to Alta Langa DOCG. Made from 100% Pinot Noir and produced according to the Metodo Classico method, it is produced from a limited edition of just 3,000 bottles. The 2022 vintage brought out the finest characteristics of the grape variety, resulting in a sparkling rosé wine with great personality, finesse, and complexity, an authentic expression of the high Piedmont hills.

In the glass, it displays a delicate, bright pink color and a fine, persistent perlage. Elegant notes of red berries, pomegranate, and floral nuances emerge on the nose, accompanied by subtle hints of bread crust due to the long lees aging. The palate is fresh, savory, and harmonious, with a pleasant minerality that leads to a long, refined finish. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs well with raw fish, shellfish, tuna and salmon tartare, sushi, delicate risottos, and light white meats.
