Tenuta Carretta is one of Piedmont's most prestigious historic wineries. Located in the heart of the Langhe, it produces wines that showcase the terroir through rigorous grape selection and a profound respect for tradition. With Airali, Tenuta Carretta perfectly interprets the Alta Langa's vocation for producing great Metodo Classico sparkling wines, enhancing each vintage through artisanal production and extensive bottle aging.

Airali Brut is an Alta Langa DOCG Millesimato made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown on the high hills of southern Piedmont. Secondary fermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method and aging on the lees for at least 36 months give the wine great finesse, structure, and balance. The result is an elegant, long-lived sparkling wine with a distinct territorial personality.

In the glass, it presents a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, intense notes of bread crust, dried fruit, dried figs, and honey emerge. On the palate, it is soft, savory, balanced, and well-structured, with a pleasant freshness that accompanies the sip to a long and elegant finish. Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs magnificently with fish dishes, shellfish, delicate risottos, and fresh cheeses.
