Blanc de Blancs

La Scolca is one of Piedmont's iconic wineries and a global ambassador for Gavi. For generations, it has interpreted the Cortese grape with an elegant, innovative, and recognizable style, showcasing the terroir through wines of great personality, precision, and longevity, an expression of Italian winemaking excellence.

The Blanc de Blancs Metodo Classico Pas Dosé is made from Cortese grapes grown on the hills of Gavi DOCG. Aged on the lees for at least 60 months, it imparts aromatic complexity, depth, and extraordinary finesse. The absence of sugar content enhances the wine's purity, highlighting its pronounced minerality, freshness, and territorial character, for an elegant, savory, and lingering palate.

A very pale straw yellow in color with delicate greenish reflections, it features a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers elegant floral aromas accompanied by fresh citrus notes of grapefruit and mandarin. On the palate, it is dry, fresh, minerally, and savory, with a pleasant tension and a long finish. Perfect as an aperitif, it elegantly pairs with raw seafood, oysters, shellfish, fish tartare, sushi, carpaccio, delicate pasta dishes, and fish dishes.
