The Pian delle Vigne estate, located six kilometers to the south of the town of Montalcino above the Orcia river valley, has belonged to the Antinori family since 1995. It takes its name from a typical railroad station of the 19th century situated within the estate’s confines and still in use.
This was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques, the first red wine to be blended with non-traditional varieties (like Cabernet) and one of the first Chianti reds not to use white grapes. Tignanello is a milestone. It is made from a selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged in barriques for about 12 months and for a further 12 months in the bottles.

Btrosecco is a red wine produced by Antinori with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes grown on the Le Mortelle farm in the heart of the Maremma. A wine with a strong personality in which the balsamic aromas of the Mediterranean scrub typical of the Maremma prevail, enriched by the spicy notes thanks to the 12-month stay in barrique.
