Pas Dosé

La Scolca is one of Piedmont's iconic wineries and a global ambassador for Gavi. For generations, it has interpreted the Cortese grape with an elegant, innovative, and recognizable style, showcasing the terroir through wines of great personality, precision, and longevity, an expression of Italian winemaking excellence.

The Soldati La Scolca Pas Dosé is made from 100% Cortese grapes, vinified according to the Classic Method and aged on the lees for over 36 months. The absence of final dosage enhances the wine's personality, highlighting its freshness, minerality, and aromatic finesse. A Pas Dosé of great character, capable of evolving in the glass with elegance and extraordinary harmony.

In the glass, it presents a bright pale yellow color, a soft mousse, and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers intense and complex aromas of white flowers, minerality, toasted hazelnut, and delicate hints of yeast. On the palate, it is dry, assertive, and harmonious, with pleasant notes of citrus, almond, and bread crust that accompany a long and refined finish. Perfect as a classy aperitif, it pairs magnificently with raw seafood, oysters, shellfish, fish carpaccio, tartare, sushi, fish-based pasta dishes, and refined seafood appetizers.
