Since 1848 the Tenuta Tiefenbrunner Castel Turmhof in Niclara has been one of the oldest in South Tyrol, guarantors of quality and refinement, skilfully crafting the art of winemaking in a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, in constant evolution but always faithful to themselves. “We produce very proud that they know where to come from and that I survive passing fashions thanks to their uniqueness” - Christof Tiefenbrunner. The wines, endowed with a unique and highly recognizable personality, are the result of a long life over time, traced by the history and origins of the winery, with processing techniques that are based on reason and measure, starting with the limited cultivation land and strongly linked to quality, to arrive at an extremely ecological philosophy of approach to plants and specific winemaking processes according to their varieties, for optimal development. Sabine and Christof are committed to continuing to write the history of Tiefenbrunner by defining the art of winemaking as a precious component of their family's identity, of which it is their responsibility to take care of it and carry it forward with responsibility and respect, day after day. With an estate of about 25 hectares of land between 250 and 1000 meters above sea level, the Tiefenbrunner winery takes care and works every resource that nature offers it with a perfect knowledge of the distinctive features, giving variety to the land in which it can develop at its best. The splendid mild climate and the slightly clayey soils with a high limestone content constitute a perfect geoclimatic basis for the development of their vineyards. Honest wines, without frills or exaggerations: this is what the Tiefenbrunner winery believes in.

The Pinot Noir Turmhof Tiefenbrunner is a young wine with high hopes. It is collected from a clayey soil of moraine sediments, calcareous gravel of moraine sediments and sand with a medium silt content using the espalier method. It undergoes fermentation on the skins in concrete barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation for ten months at 80% in small wood and 20% in large wood. After assembly, the wine matures another two months in concrete barrels, before being bottled and aged for five months in the bottle.

The Pinot Noir Turmhof Tiefenbrunner at sight shows a hue of ruby ​​red with garnet reflections and a light bouquet of blackberries, raspberries and cherries. On the nose it expresses youthful vigor and great personality, on the palate it is soft and full, elegant and balanced.
