Pinot Nero

The Brunnenhof winery is a family-run estate on the hills of Mazzon in Alto Adige in the wine-producing area cradle of Pinot Noir, locally called Blauburgunder. Here since 1999, Kurt and Johanna Rottensteiner have made the 200-year-old estate a winery that produces excellent bottles, respecting their traditions and enhancing their fruits. The goal is to produce fine wines by enhancing the "terroir", thanks to a favorable climate and rich soil, according to an ecological agriculture in total harmony with the landscape that tell sip by sip.

Classic Pinot Noir comes from grapes grown in the Mazzon vineyards on sandy-clayey soil, and perfect climatic exposure thanks to the afternoon sun and the Garda Lake Time (Ora del Garda). The grapes ferment in large wooden barrels and then mature in used Tonneaux which outline their personality. An ideal wine with grilled meats, delicate first courses and fresh cheeses.
