Vintage Collection Satén

The Franciacorta Vintage Collection are the result of a careful selection of the grapes and a wise winemaking conducted in full compliance with the Ca 'del Bosco Method. The grapes, freshly picked by hand in small boxes, are classified and cooled. Each bunch is selected by expert eyes and hands, to then benefit from exclusive "terme dei acini". A special system for washing and whipping the bunches, through three soaking tubs and a drying tunnel. After the pressing in the absence of oxygen, all the must of the base wines ferment in small oak barrels. In order to find the maximum aromatic complexity and expressive power, without losing elegance, the elevage in cask has a duration of only 5 months.

The Vintage Collection Satèn, the femininity and elegance of silk, is a special interpretation of a Franciacorta: the harmonious marriage between sun and white grapes. And a little secret: during the draft, the phase in which sugars and yeasts are added to start the second fermentation in the bottle, a smaller amount of sugar is added to the Satèn. Finally, a long period of aging enhances a soft elegance in every single bottle.
