Lessona Omaggio a Quintino Sella

The name of the winery, wanted by Sergio Stevanato, its founder, derives from his family's artisan laboratory specialized in the production of glass: "Soffieria Stella". It is precisely from this blowing factory that the success of the Stevanato family began and in memory of this activity the winery was named "Tenuta Stella". Sergio Stevanato, sole president of "Nuova Ompi", despite his prominent position within the Venetian corporate panorama, has a great passion for Collio wines and for this reason he decides to found his own wine company "Tenuta Stella" in parallel. So in 2009 he purchased a first plot of land in the Collio and began cultivating native vines to be able to make wine and tell the story of them through each bottle produced.

The Lessona "Omaggio a Quintino Stella" is produced by the Tenute Stella winery, selects "Nebiolo" and "Vespolina" grapes where the latter are destemmed and crushed and ferment in stainless steel tanks, leaving the must in contact with the skins for 26 days. Fermentation takes place in large wooden barrels naturally in spring. The refinement continues inside the same large Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 48 months.

The Lessona "Omaggio a Quintino Stella" is produced by the Tenute Stella winery and has a bright ruby ​​red color. On the nose the scents are of fruity aromas, raspberry, cherry, berries and with liquorice aromas and there are floral notes. On the palate it has a strong and decisive taste with a fruity finish.
