Diego Conterno in 2000 decided to set up his own business and to produce his wines in a 7.5 hectare vineyard in the most suitable area of the Langhe Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont. The production philosophy is wine as a faithful interpreter of the territory and its peculiarities. Each sip is like savoring the vineyard and its fruit. A journey into the Langa through its protagonists: Barolo, Nebbiolo d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba and Nascetta.

The 2016 Barolo del Comune Monforte d'Alba is obtained from pure Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Monforte vineyards on clayey soils rich in tuff and limestone marl. It's a wine that ages in oak barrels for about 30 months and refines in the bottle for another 6 months. A sublime red, characterized by structured tannins and a pleasant mineral vein.
