The image of Tellus has always been linked to the world of art. His label, revisited with the 2009 vintage, was in fact born on the occasion of an event held in Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome, during which a group of artists brought back the impressions of passionate tasters on canvas. has been known since ancient times as Oinarea, or "the city where wine flows", in the past centuries Upper Lazio enjoyed a fame derived from the production of extraordinary wines, exclusive to the papal and noble canteens, which was also recently rediscovered thanks to the enhancement work that Falesco has carried out around micro-varieties and ancient clones almost completely extinct in this region. In the Montefiascone area, in particular, the vineyards, planted on sandy soils, rich in lava, phosphorus and potassium, are exposed throughout the year to a mild climate, rainy in winter and hot in summer, which records significant temperature variations. between day and night.The area of ​​Montecchio is instead characterized by very cold winters and very hot summers, partially mitigated by the presence of Lake Corbara, not far from our Umbrian estate. The soil here is clayey, calcareous, quite fertile and deep, rich in white pebbles and important microelements, such as phosphorus, nitrogen, potassium, magnesium and boron.

Wine with an intense color with violet reflections, the scent is enhanced by its hints of fresh fruit, cherry with spicy notes that blend with great balance and elegance with those of vanilla and sweet given by the wood. The taste is enveloping, silky, with soft tannins and a rich and persistent finish.
