Rapiglio

Andrea Fiacco and Giuseppe Palombo in 2013 decided to make their dream come true and to follow up on the experiences lived in the world of wine in particular in an area still unexplored in its great complexity and richness. From this vital impulse the Montecorvino winery was born at the foot of the Lepini Mountains, facing the sea. The vineyards are partly owned, partly by producers with the same curiosity in bringing out the best fruits of the earth, characterized by favorable climatic conditions that make each place unique.

The Rave Montecorvino is produced with pure Merlot grapes from vineyards trained with espalier planting and a density of 5000 vines per hectare with spurred cordon with a production of about 60 quintals per hectare. After rigorously manual harvesting, the grapes are de-stemmed and left to ferment and after about 10 days we proceed to racking. The malolactic fermentation takes place in small wood. It evolves from small to medium size for a year and after about two years of bottle aging it is marketed.
