Bertani is a historic wine brand recognized in Italy and abroad, whose history dates back to 1857 when the brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani founded the winery in Quinto di Valpantena, today a fraction of Verona. In 1957, exactly 100 years after its foundation, the winery acquired the Tenuta Novare in Valpolicella Classica, located in a sort of natural amphitheater surrounded by woods with an extension of 190 hectares of which 62 are planted with vineyards. Today Bertani is synonymous with identity, typicality and style, elements common to all the labels produced exported all over the world.

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Bertani is produced with Corvina Veronese, Rondinella grapes from vines over 20 years old grown on calcareous and basaltic soils with a yield of 100 quintals/ha of which 30% are placed in fruit cellars as per tradition without forcing at controlled temperature and humidity on the arèle for about 120 days with pressing in the first days of January. The wine ages in 50/100 hectoliter Slavonian barrels for 7 years and then one year in the bottle.

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Bertani has an intense red with garnet reflections, a good complexity immediately stands out on the nose with hints of plum, cherries, morello cherries and spices, licorice. Powerful and elegant on the palate with notes of ripe red fruit and spices. Of great balance and good acidity that make you want to drink.
