Cantine Monfort winery were founded in Trentino years and years ago, in the Lavis area in the Val d'Adige at the entrance to the Valle di Cembra. Four generations that have followed each other until today sharing passions, objectives and love for their land, experimenting with new techniques but at the same time respecting nature and the territory, in an indissoluble combination of tradition and innovation. On the one hand, the search for indigenous vines that are poorly valued, on the other, the international varieties that better than others had taken root in the soils of Trentino, giving excellent wines. This is the story of a winery that has made itself deservedly known in Italy as well as internationally.

The Chardonnay grapes are grown by the Monfort cellars in the hilly vineyards at 500 meters above sea level near Meano and in the Val di Cembra in the small town  of Giovo. The vinification is white at controlled temperature, followed by the fermentation process with selected yeasts, and the subsequent aging in steel. An ideal white as an aperitif and with dishes of fish and vegetables.
