Alta Mora Etna Rosso

Cusumano, with its wines, occupies a prominent place in Sicily and the wine-producing south. Its products express the best of the terroir, with the grapes used and their resulting flavor. The 2016 Angimbé is made from meticulously crafted Insolia and Chardonnay grapes, lending it pleasant aromas and freshness. Vinification begins with cold maceration of the skins and pressing, followed by cold decantation, fermentation, maturation on the fine lees in stainless steel, and finally, bottle aging.

Alta Mora Etna Rosso DOC is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, grown using espalier and bush vines in the Verzella, Feudo di Mezzo, Guardiola, and Solicchiata districts of Castiglione di Sicilia. This wine perfectly represents the diverse nuances of the Etna region, expressing elegance, balance, and a distinct territorial identity.

It displays a luminous ruby ​​red color. The nose reveals fine aromas of red fruits, delicate spices, and mineral notes typical of volcanic soil. On the palate, it is elegant and fresh, with silky tannins and a pleasant finish. Perfect with red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses.
