Etna Rosso

Cantina Cottanera was born on the slopes of Etna in 1960, since then it has been cultivating with love and passion and in total respect of the volcanic land, which has completely unique properties that make the cultivation system of the vines very complex, but which at the same time they give the wine produced unique characteristics. In the vineyards, almost all the interventions, including the harvest, are done by hand, in order to make the most of the potential of the soil without ever distorting it.

Etna Contrada Feudo di Mezzo is a unique wine thanks to the lava type of the soil on which the vines are grown, destemming and maceration, in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature of 28 degrees for about 30 days. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
