A fascinating Cuvée composed of 5 harvests of Chardonnay; a unique product, flagship of a winery in Franciacorta at the highest levels.
The winery was founded back in 1793 when Agostino Uberti became the owner of a small farmhouse and surrounding vineyards, in the Salem area of Erbusco. The production of wine began immediately, but the great leap towards excellence began in the seventies when G. Uberti together with his wife Eleonora took the reins of the company projecting it into the vision of quality, respect for tradition and the environment that has made one of the most representative of Franciacorta.
After a rigorous selection of the bunches and a light crushing, the fermentation of the must of each single harvest takes place in 32 Hl natural oak vats remaining on its dregs for about 6 months. The wine of each single harvest is transferred into a single vat containing the assembly of the previous vintages. After spring draft, a period of more than 80 months is spent on the yeasts and after disgorgement at least one year before being put on the market.
It is present in a bright golden yellow with a very fine perlage; on the nose very pleasant evolved notes with scents of quince apples and ripe golden apples, on the palate it is soothing with a very long finish.
