Cocciapazza is the Torre dei Beati Montepulciano. It is a strong red wine, which combines excellent quality and authenticity, two characteristics from which organic production, undertaken by the company, cannot be ignored. Cocciapazza Torre dei Beati is perfect with red meats and hard cheeses.
Cocciapazza Torre dei Beati was born in Abruzzo, from methods dictated by the organic regulations. In Loreto Aprutino the company has 21 hectares of land, about 300 meters above sea level, 25 km away; the clayey-limestone soils close the valley of the Tavo stream, rising towards the 3,000 meters of the Gran Sasso. The position is strategic for the vineyards: during the day, temperate air comes from the sea; at night, however, the cold descends from the mountain, already covered with snow in September. The gradual harvests, usually three per year, are in this case carried out in the part of the vineyard that enjoys the best pedoclimatic conditions, capable of giving the most mature and structured wines.
The company is family-run and carries on a legacy based on genuineness.
Cocciapazza Torre dei Beati is a very deep and dense ruby red, with violet reflections in its youth. The characteristic red fruit of Montepulciano, particularly large and ripe, is in perfect balance with the rich spiciness of black pepper and licorice, and embellished with typical balsamic notes, chocolate and tobacco. Excellent structure and volume in the mouth, characterized by well-present tannins, but soft and evolved, of great maturity. Fat and caressing in the finish, with very long persistence in the mouth.
