It all started in 1960 with his father Sergio Zenato, who with energy and ambition, animated by his deep bond with the territory, experimented with new winemaking techniques and invested on native vines, to obtain wines of the highest quality. Today, his wife Carla together with his sons Alberto and Nadia, with the same passion, tenacity and infinite dedication, make Sergio's great company grow, spreading the excellence of Zenato wines in over 60 countries of the world. Thus, the soul of the Lugana territories and the heart of Valpolicella continue to expand their borders. The vineyards extend for 75 hectares in the Zenato estate of S. Cristina in San Benedetto di Lugana, suited to Trebbiano di Lugana and in the Costalunga estate in Valpolicella, home of the famous Amarone Zenato, which is home to the renowned Corvina, Rondinella and Oseleta vines.

The grapes harvested manually are crushed-destemmed and macerated in stainless steel fermentation for 10 to 12 days. After the alcoholic fermentation, the new wine is separated from the skins by a soft press and stored in steel tanks until the month of January; the period in which the dried grapes are pressed to produce Amarone. At this point the Valpolicella is "passed back" on the pomace of Amarone with a stay of 7/8 days at a temperature of 25 ° C - 28 ° C. After aging in 18-month tonneaux followed by a light aging in bottle for 6 months.
