Sergio Zenato founded his winery in 1960 on the Veneto side south of Lake Garda, in the lands of Lugana and Valpolicella, devoting himself with passion and great spirit of enterprise to the cultivation of native vines such as Trebbiano di Lugana and the renowned Corvina, Rondinella and Osoleta. Thanks to new winemaking techniques and a strong bond with the territory, today the Zenato company, led by his sons and his wife, extends for 75 hectares between the S. Cristina Estate in San Benedetto di Lugana and the Costalunga Estate in Valpolicella, and exports high quality wines such as the famous Amarone Zenato, in 60 countries of the world, synonymous with excellence and dedication to the territory.

Cabernet Sauvignon is a noble grape variety famous for its aromatic fullness and breadth of the bouquet, and these are the characteristics we appreciate in this label Santa Cristina from Zenato. The grapes ferment for 3 weeks in stainless steel with regular pumping over to stimulate the release of substances from the skins. While the refinement takes place for 15/18 months in French oak barriques. After racking, the wine remains for 2/3 months in stainless steel tanks and then it is bottled and rests for a further 5/6 months in the bottle. A great wine for aging into the cellar, preserving in the years his great personality.
