The Petrognano Farm, owned by the Pellegrini family since 1962, is located 2 km. town of Montelupo Fiorentino, town internationally known for the production of ceramics. Composed of a single body, it is situated on a quaint Tuscan salt-downs overlooking the Arno valley, along a road between Montelupo Fiorentino Montespertoli. The company is immersed in an oasis of peace and serenity: his vineyards stretch around the villa and to the mother country residence and in the totality of the plots is implemented a run in the biological environment-friendly. The average age of the plants is about 35 years, most of which are not yet in production and the future and will give continuity to the quality of the grapes produced. Between the top and the below valley, crossed by two streams, there are soils of Pliocene origin, medium texture, well exposed, deep and well suited to the cultivation of fruit tree species (vines and olive trees in particular). The vineyards are located at an altitude of 250-300 meters above sea level, the attitude is always hillside with south-southwest exposure. The cellar of Fattoria di Petrognano has been realized according to the most modern techniques, but without forgetting tradition. stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature for fermentation and subsequent storage, small French oak barrels and a few barrels of medium size (25 and 30 Hl) for aging. Objective of the family and of all its employees is to achieve the best possible quality while respecting the land that gave its fruits.

Orci is characterized by its vigorous and full-bodied taste, with hints of ripe apple and ripe apricot on the nose. At the sight it is an intense golden yellow with greenish nuances.
