The Torre Rosazza estate has been present in the Friulian territory since time immemorial, founded in 1600 as a fortress and then used as a residence by the Antonini family, nobles from Udine, who gave new life to the medieval tower, transforming it into a manor house. house that became their home, becoming Turris Rosacea. Subsequently to the Antonini family the estate passed to the De Marchi family who unfortunately after the defeat of Caporetto were forced to abandon the estate which ended up under Austrian hands, only to return under Italian control at the end of the war. The Rosazza estate enjoys a unique terroir, a few steps from Udine and close to the border with Slovenia. You are enchanted by the beauty of the terraced vineyards, meticulously cared for, which embellish the "Ponca" soil, composed of sediments and minerals with a low percentage of organic matter.

The Sauvignon of Tenuta Torre Rosazza is produced with vines that are on average 15 years old and have their roots in the gravelly soil. The vineyards rest on soils of alluvial origin composed of two surfaces, composed of pebbles of various sizes of limestone and dolomite nature. The grapes are softly pressed in temperature-controlled steel tanks, and subsequently refined for at least 3 months on the fine lees in the same containers.

At first glance, the Sauvignon from Tenuta Rosazza has a straw yellow color with greenish hues. On the nose it presents floral hints and citrus hints, such as lime, pink grapefruit, sage, tomato leaf and tropical fruit. On the palate it has a fresh and enveloping flavor that gives freshness to the drink, it has some mineral notes.
