Ribolla Gialla Zui

For over 40 years, the Azienda Agricola Russolo has been producing wines from a fantastic area, that of San Quirino, in the upper Western Friuli, in close proximity to the Pordenone Dolomites. It all began at the end of the 19th century when Giovanni Russolo made himself known as a wine producer in the Pordenone area, and, advancing by generations and writing the stories of Italian enology, the company took shape in 1974 with Iginio and his wife Sonia who bought vineyards San Quirino. Today, with the support of Antonella and Rino, the company faces new challenges, with a microclimate influenced by an accentuated temperature range, here are produced regional autochthonous wines, elegant, clearly aromatic, with extreme organoleptic cleanliness and good gustatory harmony.

Ribolla Gialla Zui Russolo is a white that comes from the "Zui" vineyard, which over the years has given more and more satisfaction precisely for its inimitable grace. The grapes are harvested from a flat terrain consisting of the dejection conoid of the Cellina stream, a mattress of alluvial sediments of a calciferous-dolomitic nature of fluvioglacial origin located at the foot of the Dolomites. With a warm temperate climate, with rigid winters and hot summers and a significant average rainfall and an average temperature of 19.5 °, the grapes are grown with the cappuccina method. It receives a soft pressing with vacuum presses, the musts obtained are cleaned by dynamic decantation. Following the innoculation of selected yeasts, fermentation starts at a controlled temperature with continuous management of the fermentation dynamics. At the end of fermentation, the wine is kept on the noble lees until bottling.

Ribolla Gialla Zui Russolo has a straw yellow color tending to greenish, a floral and fragrant scent on the nose, with a dry flavor. Fresh and light but with a good persistence in the mouth, pleasantly tannic.
