Moving away from Bolzano towards the Brenner, the slopes of the mountains become more and more pressing and gradually more and more gloomy, almost dark: suddenly, however, the valley softens, near the Benedictine monastery of Sabiona, a cloistered monastic institute very dear to wine . This is where Gaffer von Feldenreich's Pinot Blanc ripens in the first rays of the morning sun. The shale, granitic, very permeable soils capable of rapidly absorbing heat favor the innate attitudes of Pinot Blanc, a natural mountaineer, capable of enclosing in its gold-colored berries all the magical sparkle of the Dolomite dawns. Straw yellow in color with light green reflections, Gaffer von Feldenreich's Pinot Blanc has a rich and complex aroma, with hints reminiscent of Granny apple and wild hazelnuts. A wise use of wood gives the wine woody notes that anticipate the soft and persuasive taste dictated by the calibrated balance of strength, finesse and elegance.
