Cont'Ugo Bolgheri

The Cont'Ugo Guado al Tasso Marchesi Antinori is produced in one of the most famous areas in the world wine scene, the Bolgheri area where some of the most famous "Super Tuscans" are produced. The Cont'Ugo vines rest on silty-clayey soils of mainly alluvial origin with an altitude between 45 and 60 meters above sea level. with an excellent exposure and benefit from the influence of the sea with the breezes that mitigate the heat in the summer and make the winters less harsh. After the harvest we proceed with the micro-vinification of various lots from the best vineyards to then be assembled only after careful selection of the lots to give life to Bolgheri DOC Cont'Ugo Marchesi Antinori. The best lots have been
assembled and transferred back into barriques, 10% new and 90% second passage, for a further 12 months of maturation at the end of which the wine was bottled.

The Cont'Ugo Guado al Tasso Marchesi Antinori has an intense ruby red with a complex and intriguing nose with hints of small red fruits, balsamic notes and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is savory, ample, with a long and persistent finish.
