Guado al Tasso

The Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso Marchesi Antinori is produced from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc grapes and sometimes a small amount of Petit Verdot whose vugneti rest on soils of alluvial origin, from clayey-sandy to clayey-loamy, with the presence of Bolgheri agglomeration. A careful selection divided into two moments, one before and one after destemming to ensure only the best grapes with perfect maturation. The harvest takes place in several moments according to the ripening of the bunches to then make micro-vinifications. The malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques and in February the best barriques are selected to be combined to give life to Guado al Tasso. The assembly then passes into French oak barriques of first taste until the refinement in the bottle after almost 15 months.

The Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso Marchesi Antinori has an intense ruby red with a complex nose full of notes such as tobacco, licorice, plums, balsamic notes and nuances of coffee. Full on the palate with good breadth and elegant tannins.
