Bolgheri Rosso

Bolgheri Rosso Donna Olimpia 1898 is a very successful red. The grapes are grown on a sandy loamy soil formed in a continental, helical, colluvial environment, with a yield of 70%, equivalent to 60hl of wine per hectare. The harvest takes place at full ripeness in the months of September and October. The grapes, selected in the vineyard, are then taken to the cellar to be vinified. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel wine tanks at a controlled temperature, favoring the prolonged contact of the skins with the must. Malolactic fermentation takes place immediately after alcoholic fermentation. The refinement is 12-14 months in French oak barrels, 50% new and 50% one year, and 6 months in the bottle.

Bolgheri Rosso Donna Olimpia 1898 has a very intense ruby ​​garnet color with evident violet reflections. The nose is broad with notes of cinnamon, blackberry, blueberry, pepper, cocoa and licorice; On the palate a very harmonious taste of good structure with a very persistent and pleasant finish with notes of jam.
