Chianti Classico Ama

Ama is a very small village near Gaiole, in the heart of the Chianti Classico, with a territory that extends for about 75 hectares of vineyards, for 40 years, Marco Pallanti and Lorenza Sebasti have been producing wines of great quality in harmony with the territory that they welcomes. On average they produce about 320,000 bottles of wines every year, divided between the Chianti Classico and IGT labels. Here one of the most famous Super-Tuscans was born, such as Apparita.

Chianti Classico Ama Castello di Ama is produced from Sangiovese grapes with a small amount of Merlot grapes. The vinification takes place with indigenous yeasts and separated by variety of grapes in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After racking, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. After blending, the wine matures in fine-grained oak barriques.

The Chianti Classico Ama Castello di Ama has a ruby ​​red color with vermillion reflections; on the palate it is fruity with hints of cherry, raspberry and red fruit in general. Fruity, full, elegant and authentic on the palate.
