The Trerose winery is one of the reference brands of Bertani Domains whose estate is located on the Sienese side of the Valdichiana on 5 hills dominated in the center by a 17th century manor house. It covers 103 hectares of vines well integrated with the landscape where an approach between innovation, research and sustainability predominates based on the assumptions of a minimalist enology and attentive to the typicality of the terroir. Among the labels, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano stands out.

Santa Caterina is a Vino Nobile di Montepulciano whose Sangiovese grapes are carefully selected from the vineyards of Tenuta Trerose planted in an amphitheater with a very favorable exposure, mitigated by the proximity of Lake Trasimeno and characterized by soils of marine origin composed of sands, silt and salty clays. The selections of the vine according to the individual peculiarities are aged separately in barriques, 10 hl barrels and 30-40 hl barrels. And it's precisely in the selection of different expressions of Sangiovese in such a rich and varied context that gives life to a unique Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
