Invito is a white wine without sulphites from the vineyards of Vallemarina between Fondi and Terracina of the autochthonous Moscato di Terracina grape, as per ancient custom in these areas of the province of Latina. The color is a straw yellow with greenish reflections, while on the nose there are hints of yellow melon, white flowers and wildflower water. On the palate it is dry, intense and pleasant to drink.

Terra delle Ginestre is a family-run farm founded in 1998, with the desire to bring to light ancient vines cultivated since Roman times on the Riviera di Ulisse, the southern coast of the province of Latina. Hence the recovery of almost unknown varieties such as Metolano and Abbuoto, among the red berried ones, alongside the better known Bellone and Moscato di Terracina, among the white berried ones. A passionate work of valorization of vines in some cases destined to disappear, but also a great attention in research, which led Terra delle Ginestre in 2012 to produce the first wines without added sulphites, and from the 2013 harvest to extend this practice to 50% of the vineyards cultivated in the 5 hectares of the company. An opportunity made possible by advanced studies on molecules of plant origin with antiseptic and antioxidative properties, which have made it possible to obtain wines that are stable over time, with great organoleptic properties while respecting the soil of origin and the typical characteristics of the fruit of each grape variety.

Invito is a wine produced by Terra delle Ginestre to enhance a native variety such as Moscato di Terracina, once present in a significant way in the countryside between Fondi and Terracina, and today relegated to a few vineyards that survived decades of overbuilding. The grapes are harvested by hand and immediately taken to the cellar for pressing and maceration at room temperature for about 6/8 hours. After racking, the must completes fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C, after which it's racked into steel containers and the separation of the coarse lees, and then rests for another 4/6 months on the fine lees, and is bottled after several phases. of clarification. Since 2012 it has been bottled without added sulphites, but replacing sulfur dioxide with molecules of vegetable origin. The result is a white wine that respects tradition, still, fresh with a hint of acidity that makes it particularly drinkable.
