The Giacobbe farm began its history in 1939 with Leopoldo buying a hectare of land on top of the San Giovenale hill in the Province of Frosinone. Since then, 15 hectares have been cultivated, 9 of which are vineyards between the Municipalities of Paliano, Piglio and Olevano Romano. The vineyards located at a higher altitude are cultivated in Cesanese di Affile, thanks to their volcanic composition, while in those located at a lower altitude the Passerina del Frusinate is cultivated. Today with Alberto Giacobbe we are the third generation of winemakers and producers of excellent wine, in a constant balance between tradition and innovation.

Maddalena is a great wine from Ciociaria, 90% of which is produced with Passerina del Frusinate grapes, and is characterized by its sapid and mineral taste due to the clay soil from which it comes. Vinification with contact on the skins, and ferment in steel tanks at a controlled temperature below 17 ° C, to then refine for about 6 months in tonneaux and another 12 months in bottle.
