Lugana Santa Cristina is a wine with an easy and at the same time intriguing character; fresh and with good complexity with notes of white flower peaches, cedar and a hint of pineapple. A good acidity and a marked minerality give the wine the freshness that makes it perfect as an aperitif or with raw fish.

Sergio Zenato founded his winery in 1960 on the Veneto side south of Lake Garda, in the lands of Lugana and Valpolicella, devoting himself with passion and great spirit of enterprise to the cultivation of native vines such as Trebbiano di Lugana and the renowned Corvina, Rondinella and Osoleta. Thanks to new winemaking techniques and a strong bond with the territory, today the Zenato company, led by his sons and his wife, extends for 75 hectares between the S. Cristina Estate in San Benedetto di Lugana and the Costalunga Estate in Valpolicella, and exports high quality wines such as the famous Amarone Zenato, in 60 countries of the world, synonymous with excellence and dedication to the territory.

Lugana Santa Cristina is produced from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes grown in the municipality of Peschiera sul Garda in the Podere Massoni vineyard with a southern exposure and an altitude of 80 slm with a calcareous-clayey soil. After a soft pressing and a fermentation of 15-20 days at a controlled temperature, the wine sieleva with an aging of 4-5 months in stainless steel tanks and then conclude with another 2-3 months in bottle before sale.

Lugana Santa Cristina has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections and an elegant and fresh nose with floral notes and citrus and fruity hints. On the palate a good full and balanced minerality with a finish full of freshness.
