Biserno

The Biserno estate was discovered by Lodovico Antinori in 1995, a genius of viticulture, who immediately recognized its potential in particular for Bordeaux blends. The large vineyard called Bellaria extends between the area of ​​Bolgheri and Biserno, on soils rich in limestone, calcium carbonate and rocks with an ideal microclimate for the Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvigno and Syrah varieties, where grapes are concentrated smaller organoleptic nuances giving life to wines of excellence, expression of one of the families that embodies the history of wine in the world.

Biserno is a Bordeaux blend that comes from the vineyards of Bibbona on the border with Bolgheri, in the upper Maremma in the Biserno estate. The Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot grapes are carefully selected in the cellar, and then fermented in steel. The aging takes place for 16 months for 40% in French oak barriques, and for the remainder in first passage barriques, and then further refined in the bottle for another 12 months. A red born for important occasions and to be tasted slowly, appreciating its full-bodied taste sip after sip.
