Calce Rosé

The Primitivo di Manduria Talò wine is produced with homonymous grapes that follow a specific process of vinification according to the company philosophy. The result is a bottle for great sensory experiences.
The wine production begins with the temperature-controlled maceration for 10 days, continues with the alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts and ends with the refinement in French and American wooden barrels for 6 months.

The classic method Calce Rosè San Marzano is produced with Negroamaro and Chardonnay grapes grown in espalier in vineyards located in particularly suitable hilly areas. The grapes are softly pressed and fermentation takes place at low temperatures using only the must. The refermentation takes place in the bottle with a stay on the lees for at least 36 months.

The classic method Calce Rosè San Marzano has a pale pink with delicate onion skin reflections and a subtle and persistent perlage. On the palate it immediately manifests itself with a fragrant citrus freshness and with caressing floral notes that anticipate aromas of small red fruits and shades of bread crust. On the palate it is dynamic and lively with slight evolutionary hints that give elegance to a decisive and soft texture at the same time.
