Verso Sera is the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG by the Velenosi winery. A wine with a ruby red color, with a large bouquet in which hints of plum, blackberry and black currant stand out accompanied by spicy hints and hints of tobacco. The taste is strong and characterized by soft tannins, and a long and persistent finish. Excellent with red meat dishes with strong flavors.
The Velenosi winery was founded in 1984 in Ascoli Piceno in the Monticelli area by Ercole and Angela Velenosi, which represents one of the most important and appreciated wineries in the Marche region. More than 200 hectares of vines among owned and rented vineyards that extend over the hills facing the Adriatic Sea. A perfect combination of peasant traditions and innovation that has produced a series of unique labels, both from native vines such as montepulciano, sangiovese, lacrima, pecorino, verdicchio and passerina, and international ones such as cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay, syrah, sauvignon blanc and pinot noir. Since 2016 the company has married organic agriculture and has been even more capable of enhancing the best winemaking tradition of Marche, and exporting it to the best wine bars in the world.
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Verso Sera is a tribute to the land and to the most authentic values of the Piceno wine tradition, as it represents the scissors in the center of the label. An extremely pleasant elegant red, which embodies the most genuine aromas of the fruit.
