The Imperatori company is located in an area south of Rome, with a strong wine-growing vocation, where vines have flourished for millennia. The winery is young but the goals are ambitious: to produce wines that can interpret, in a different key, the area where the company is rooted, and the rediscovery of varieties grown in the Roman countryside before the phylloxera crisis and interpreted in a modern key.

Malvasia Puntinata is the most important native white vine of Lazio, for centuries it has been cultivated on the volcanic hills. The vinification is carried out through the process called soft destemming-crushing, short cold pre-fermentation maceration of the grapes.
