The Venica & Venica winery has its roots in 1930 and has consolidated itself as a reality that well interprets the synthesis between tradition and innovation. Located in the heart of Collio, in the hills between Udine and Gorizia, land of Ribolla Gialla, it is strictly family-run and stands out for its eco-sustainable vocation, for its great commitment to maintaining the integrity of the land and protecting biodiversity. All the vineyards are managed and designed with Biodynamic Agriculture, and in 2011 the company joined V.I.V.A. SUSTAINABLE WINE - Evaluation of the impact of Viticulture on the Environment - national pilot project launched by the Ministry of the Environment in collaboration with nine companies and three research centers for sustainable wine "Made in Italy". The project measures the sustainability performance of the vine-wine supply chain, starting from the calculation of water and carbon footprints (Water and Carbon footprint).

The Jesera Pinot Grigio Collio DOC, as in the best tradition of the Venica & Venica winery, is characterized by the careful vinification process, which involves the maceration of the grapes for 4/8 hours at 14 °. Subsequently 10% of the must ferments and refines on the lees for 5 months in large wooden barrels (20/27 HL), the rest in steel containers. The wine is then blended and bottled at the full moons between the end of March and July. Fresh and inviting on the nose with notes of acacia blossom, fragrant and intense, dry and soft, it's the right travel companion for both meat dishes and soups and fish.
