La Grande Année

With a fermentation completely carried out in tonneau and an aging in the cellar of two times higher than what established by the specification, the Bollinger La Grande Année is born.

It has a delicate color with golden reflections, witness of the maturity of the wine but also of the Bollinger winemaking methods; on the nose it manifests a beautiful complexity; aromas of honey, pain d'épices and cinnamon; thin notes of dried fruit (hazelnut) and dried flowers (linden). On the palate it is a mature, soft, broad and persistent wine. Aromas of pastry, candied orange and ripe fruits; notes of undergrowth and vanilla. A creamy effervescence; discreet acidity in the finish that brings freshness.
