In 1971 the adventure of Arnaldo Caprai was born, who from the world of textiles decides to realize his dream, that of producing wine that reflects tradition and immediately tries to enhance the potential of the Sagrantino vine. Since 1988 with the arrival of his son, the winery has taken on a more entrepreneurial dimension, reaching important milestones up to the most prestigious awards within a few years, bringing the cellar to the highest levels in Italian enology. But despite all the successes, the main objective remains that of thirty years earlier, that of a constant and meticulous work in favor of quality, the research and experimentation of new agronomic and oenological techniques, the dissemination of the culture and tradition of the territory of to which the company acts as an interpreter.

For many years, the Arnaldo Caprai company has been committed to enhancing and keeping the typical characteristics of the Montefalco area intact and vital, knowing how to compete over time in a condition of sustainability. That same environmental, economic and social sustainability that was fully represented in the Montefalco 2015 project: The New Green Revolution, the first territorial protocol in this regard in the wine sector. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines are trained using the Guyot system with a density of 6000-9000 per hectare with a yield of about 50-60 q per hectare; aging for 6 months in French oak barriques and at least 4 months in the bottle.
