The Cannonau di Sardegna by the Pub Agricolo winery is obtained from the Mamoiada vineyards in the heart of Barbagia, in a land traditionally dedicated to wine. The color is an intense ruby ​​red, while the nose stands out aromas of cinnamon, clove combined with balsamic and herbaceous hints. In the mouth it's round, full-bodied, characterized by fine, elegant tannins and good persistence.

In the heart of Sardinia, in the middle of the Barbagia, in Mamoiada, sheep farming and even more viticulture have been practiced since long time, with as many as 300 hectares of vines in Cannonau. A historical place made up of ancient and ancestral customs that have always characterized the culture and folklore of the area. The project of the Pub Agricolo winery was born in this land with the aim of producing the Cannonau from Mamoiada in purity. Four young people, 3 brothers Dario, Delio, Marco Gungui and a friend Giuseppe Meloni, who inherited the passion of their parents, Annino Gungui and Giovanni Meloni, after years spent in the vineyard from an early age, decided to bottle their own wine. The production philosophy is that of respecting the environment and the territory in the search for the highest quality, with the help of the oenologist Emanuela Flore and their own parents involved in the company. Since 2018 Pub Agricolo wines have been certified organic, respecting its historical identity and the ancient traditions of Mamoiada.

The Cannonau di Sardegna from the Pub Agricolo winery is vinified in purity from Cannonau grapes, one of the most widespread native varieties on the island. The land on which the vineyards are spread is granite, slightly acidic at 750 meters above sea level. The vinification takes place with maceration in contact with the skins for about 15 days, followed by manual fulling and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts only. After that the vina is aged for 12 months in small steel containers and then bottled. A red with a strong personality that best expresses that balance between body and finesse, on the nose as well as on the palate.
