A great white wine of Gaja Winery entered in the history of the great Italian wines. The name comes from Alteni, small stone walls that once surrounded the land parcels, and brassica, yellow flowers that cover the vineyards in spring.

The Gaja winery was founded in 1859 in Barbaresco, in the heart of the Langhe, and has always been recognized as one of the iconic names in the production of Barbaresco. By the founder Giovanni until Angelo Gaja, this family has been able to impose itself on the world wine scene, thanks to a precise recipe: the pursuit of quality, by importing new production techniques that range the killing of production per hectare to greater control of the fermentation temperature .
Well defined fruity component (grapefruit, papaya, pear) floral and spicy notes. The palate shows a balanced body and a dense structure supported by remarkable freshness. It demonstrates excellent capacity of aging in bottle.
