Blangé is the white "side" of Piedmont, produced from pure Arneis grapes, which has revolutionized the way of making wine in the Langhe, historically suited to the cultivation of red berried grapes. Born in the Roero area in the north-east of the province of Cuneo, it's an organic wine that wants to affirm its identity, between sustainability and pleasantness.
The history of the Ceretto family and its winery is passionate and exciting. Founded in 1937 by Riccardo Ceretto in Alba, today after almost 80 years and 100 hectares of vineyards it has grown under the sign of the utmost research in the wine sector, becoming ambassador of Piedmont and Italy in the world. The position of the vineyards in the Langhe and Roero, combined with a dedication towards the maximum environmental sustainability of its products and respect for traditions, make it a heritage of skills of great value
Blangé is a revolutionary organic wine in various aspects, first of all it is a white in the Langhe dedicated to red, secondly it rediscovers an ancient autochthonous white grape variety like Arneis, almost forgotten, and finally inaugurated in the 80s, when it was born, the cryomaceration technique, that is the maceration that takes place in contact between must and skins for 12 hours at a temperature of 5 ° C. This is to enhance and extract in the most effective way all the natural aromas present in the grapes and respect the purity of the fruit. Hence its intense aroma between notes of pear, apple, peach and tropical fruit, and pleasant freshness on the palate. A cult wine that marked an era.
