Cuvée Royale Marchese Antinori Limited Edition Merry Christmas

In 1999, the Antinori family's centuries-old winemaking tradition merged with that of the Counts of Maggi to manage the Tenuta Montenisa vineyards in the heart of Franciacorta and produce premium labels such as Cuvée Royale, Contessa Maggi, Conte Aino, Blanc de Blancs, and Rosé. The hills where these flourishing vineyards extend are those around the beautiful village of Calino, a hamlet of Cazzago San Martino in the province of Brescia, linked for centuries to the Counts of Maggi. Here, the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc grape varieties, the basis of Franciacorta production, have been cultivated for years. The finest grapes are carefully selected and processed in the estate's historic cellars, where the art of winemaking is reflected in the imposing centuries-old setting, a custodian of great traditions. This produces excellent wines that age extensively on the lees to maximize their personality and elegance.

Marchese Antinori's Cuvée Royale is one of the finest wines made from a blend of Franciacorta's three main grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc. This sparkling wine rests for 36 months on the lees, and is renowned for its freshness, elegance, and balance, making it one of the finest in the appellation.
