Grappa Storica Nera

Domenis is a historic distillery in Friuli, operating since 1898 and now a symbol of quality Friulian grappa. For four generations, it has perpetuated artisanal expertise that combines ancient techniques with contemporary technology, creating spirits with a strong identity. The Domenis family has always championed a philosophy based on purity, rigorous pomace selection, and a transparent and meticulous production process. Today, the brand represents a benchmark in the world of Italian distillation.

Storica Nera is made from selected pomace fermented in must to preserve all of the original aromatic richness. Distilled in a batch system with eight direct-steam copper stills, it is initially produced at 75° and then brought to a final strength of 50° through dilution with water and cold filtration. Youthful, crystalline, and pure, it is one of the distillery's signature grappas.

On the nose, it is rigorous, fine, and rich, with clear and harmonious aromas. The palate is smooth and balanced, supported by a rounded and persistent bouquet. Excellent as a meditation spirit, it pairs perfectly with dark chocolate, pastries, toasted nuts, and aged cheeses.
