Champagne Brut Laurent-Perrier represents undisputed excellence in the panorama of French bubbles, the result of a careful selection of grapes and a rigorously traditional production process. The Maison Laurent-Perrier, with its long history and its reputation, has managed to maintain an unmistakable stylistic identity over time, characterized by a unique finesse and elegance. At the base of this prestigious Champagne we find a skilful assembly of three noble grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Each grape variety brings distinctive characteristics to the blend: Chardonnay provides freshness, finesse and citrus notes, Pinot Noir structure and complexity, while Pinot Meunier provides roundness and softness. The grapes come exclusively from the best crus of Champagne, carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. The terroir, characterized by calcareous and chalky soils, helps give Champagne Brut Laurent-Perrier a unique minerality and aromatic complexity. The vinification takes place according to the traditional champenoise method, which involves an initial fermentation in steel to preserve the freshness of the must and a second fermentation in the bottle to obtain the bubbles. Aging on the lees for a minimum period of 36 months is essential for the development of aromas and the creation of a fine and persistent bubble. During this period, the wine undergoes an autolysis process that enriches the aromatic bouquet with notes of brioche, brioche bread and dried fruit.
To the eye, Champagne Brut Laurent-Perrier has a bright straw yellow color, with golden reflections. The perlage is fine and persistent, forming a crown of bubbles that animate the surface of the wine. On the nose, intense and complex aromas are appreciated, with notes of white pulp fruit (apple, pear), citrus fruits (grapefruit, lemon), white flowers (broom, hawthorn) and light hints of brioche and vanilla. In the mouth, the taste is balanced and harmonious, with a good structure and a freshness that balances the softness. The finish is long and persistent, with mineral and citrus notes. Champagne Brut Laurent-Perrier is an extremely versatile wine, perfect both as an aperitif and to accompany delicate and refined dishes. It pairs excellently with shellfish, seafood, raw fish, white meats and fresh cheeses.
