Grappa Storica Riserva Domenis

Domenis is a historic distillery in Friuli, operating since 1898 and now a symbol of quality Friulian grappa. For four generations, it has perpetuated artisanal expertise that combines ancient techniques with contemporary technology, creating spirits with a strong identity. The Domenis family has always championed a philosophy based on purity, rigorous pomace selection, and a transparent and meticulous production process. Today, the brand represents a benchmark in the world of Italian distillation.

Distillation takes place in copper stills using direct steam at a low temperature, just over 100°C, which allows for the delicate extraction of aromas and volatile compounds from the pomace without compromising quality. The selected grappas are then aged in antique oak barrels, some for several years, to achieve an amber color and aromatic complexity. Finally, a balanced blend of grappas of different ages is created, followed by maturation in stainless steel tanks. The result is a harmonious, elegant, and structured spirit.

Amber in color, bright and warm in the glass. It has an intense and defined aroma, with deep and varied flavors typical of an aged spirit. Its flavor is full, elegant, and persistent, with enveloping tactile sensations and a refined finish that enhances the complexity of its aromas. Perfect as an after-dinner drink, it pairs well with dark chocolate, dried fruit desserts, or can be enjoyed on its own to appreciate all its nuances.
