The history of the Clemént Rhum company begins in 1887 when Homère Clément, the mayor of Le François decided to buy Domaine de L'Acajou, the best and largest sugar plantation on the Caribbean island Martinique, with an extension of 43 hectares. The period in which the production of Rhum Agricole began was characterized by a great economic crisis, due to the collapse in the price of sugar, which gave the impetus to Homère Clément to try their hand at this incredible adventure in the production of a type of Rhum obtained directly from fresh sugar cane and not from molasses.

Perfect for a relaxing evening, and can be tasted with a good dark chocolate.
