The Riesling Graacher Mosel from the Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt winery has a straw yellow color and fruity aromas of black currant. On the palate hints of fresh apple and ripe pear prevail, accompanied by notes of pomelo on the finish.
The Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt winery is one of the oldest estates in Germany in the heart of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region, with 650 years of history behind it. The Gunter-Reh family took over it in the late 1970s from the Reichsgrafen von Kesselstatt nobles of imperial lineage, starting a process of redevelopment of the vineyards and cellars that produced extraordinary Rieslings. The climatic conditions, the proximity to the Moselle river, the stony-clayey soils on which the vineyards extend on considerable slopes, make it one of the best areas in the world for the production of white wines. The Gunter-Reh family, convinced that the wine is a faithful expression of the terroir of origin, continues the work begun 50 years ago without stopping.
Riesling Graacher Mosel owes its goodness to those climatic conditions and composition of the soils that have made the wines of this part of Germany great. A particularly pleasant wine that goes perfectly with a nice veal fillet, vegetables au gratin or a good plate of pasta.
