The 1988 Millesimato is an exceptional Italian Brandy aged for 23 years to which a selection of Tuscan Kentucky tobacco is added by infusion. The color is amber, on the nose a riot of aromas from raisins, vanilla, barley candy, licorice up to the smoky notes of tobacco. It's intense on the palate and the hints of cigar, leather and black pepper fade into a long persistence of mint and licorice.
The 2002 Villa Zarri Brandy Millesimato is aged in Marsala Florio barriques for 14 years. The color is amber with mahogany reflections, while hints of licorice and dried fruit prevail on the nose accompanied by toasted notes of the oak wood used for aging, besides aromas of iris, cocoa powder, dried sage, nutmeg. On the palate it is warm, slightly spicy with a long cocoa and mint finish.
The 10 year Traditional Assemblage Brandy of Villa Zarri shows a bright amber color with shades of green gold. The nose features hints of grape in alcohol, vanilla, cinnamon, dried fruit accompanied by herbaceous notes and leather. The taste is full, warm capable of conquering the palate and closing with a long spicy persistence.
In the Acquavite di Vino you need patience and a lot of courage. In this case, 20 years of aging in the Barricaia of the company at controlled temperatures, and in a highly poetic context, make this distillate special and strongly aromatic.
