The evocative Ca 'del Bosco's history has its origins in the mid-sixties, when Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a small house in the hills in Erbusco, in Franciacorta, locally called "Ca' del bosc", immersed in a dense forest of chestnut. The tale of Ca' del Bosco is written in his wines, in the extensive plot of his vineyards, in the dreamed success, desired and realized by his author. Maurizio Zanella has been able to recognize in Franciacorta the land that would have generated the best fruits, for the production of high quality wines: his company was the first to better express the quality potential of this land. A position reached thanks to the enthusiasm and passion of Maurizio Zanella who at the beginning of the '70s understood and followed his "artistic" vocation, becoming the protagonist of the Italian enological renaissance and transforming "a house in a chestnut wood" in one of the most modern and advanced cellars. The wonderful stories by Ca' del Bosco are born from here: from an illusion, from a story born to last over time. Among the first regions to obtain the D.O.C. in the distant 1967, Franciacorta quickly acquired a prestigious reputation, enhanced by the products of its land and by the commitment of those who wisely invested resources and ideas in quality wine making. New energy, new drives, new enthusiasm. New generations passionate and innovative, driven by the many international successes that Franciacorta has obtained. As the designation Franciacorta D.O.C.G. in 1995: a significant testimony and recognition of the renewed commitment of the producers of this land to clarify and further improve the quality of Franciacorta wines. Why say today Franciacorta is tantamount to declaring with pride and confidence a great love for wine, culture and the culture of a dream, of a sign of destiny.
